about us

OUR MISSION

Imago Dei aims to make the priceless heritage of Christian art available to all via museum-grade fine art prints made with the highest quality archival papers.

We are a family-run business founded by Shaun C. Duncan, a professional fine art printer and conservation framer with over a decade’s experience working with a wide range of artists and collectors. His wife and business partner, Amy C. Duncan, is a painter and illustrator who serves as our collection’s chief curator. Imago Dei is a labour of love born of their shared passion for historical art and their Catholic faith.

ABOUT OUR PRINTS

Our prints are all made on archival cotton rag paper using museum-grade light-fast inks. Properly framed, they will last a lifetime without fading.

The files we print from are of the highest available resolution and accuracy. The sizes we offer for each image have been determined to ensure the highest possible print quality. Larger sizes may be available upon request – just send us an email and we can talk you through the options and any possible drawbacks. We have no interest in selling over-enlarged, pixelated prints – there are enough people doing that already.

Prints sized roughly A3 and below will be shipped in acid-free polypropylene sleeves with backings and sandwiched between two sheets of 5mm foamcore. Larger prints will be wrapped in tissue paper and shipped in poster tubes.

Our catalogue is growing all the time, but if you have a particular piece of art you are looking for, but which is not currently listed on our site (for instance, an image of a specific saint for a confirmation gift), please contact us so we can try to source it for you.
